Dynopane is built so that we see as little of your data as possible. This page says exactly what is collected, by whom, and why.

The extension

• Your AWS credentials are never entered into Dynopane and never stored by us. The extension uses the standard AWS credential chain — the profiles and SSO sessions already configured on your machine — and the AWS SDK sends them only to AWS.
• Your DynamoDB data (table names, schemas, items, query results) travels directly between your machine and AWS, or between your machine and the local DynamoDB endpoint you configure. Dynopane has no server and does not store, proxy or copy any of it.
• No telemetry. The extension sends no usage data, no analytics and no crash reports anywhere. If something breaks, we only learn about it if you tell us.
• Licence check. When you activate Pro, the extension sends your licence key to Polar's validation endpoint and stores the result locally. That tells Polar the key was used and on how many machines.

The website

• dynopane.com uses Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous page counts (page views, referrer, rough country). It sets no cookies, and there are no advertising networks or other third-party scripts on this site.
• If you email support@dynopane.com we keep the email so we can answer it.

Purchases

Checkout is handled by Polar Software Inc., our merchant of record. Polar collects your email, payment details and billing country to process the payment, issue the receipt and calculate tax, under Polar's privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details so we can provide support and refunds. We never see your card details.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at support@dynopane.com. Deleting your data on our side does not remove anything from your AWS account and does not erase Polar's record of the order.
